WE Hub, a Department of IT E & C, Government of Telangana initiative to promote and foster women’s entrepreneurship inaugurated their headquarters on Thursday, March 28, 2019. An outcome of the resolve made at Global Entrepreneurship Summit hosted in Hyderabad in November 2017, since WE Hub’s inception on March 8, 2018, close to 250 entrepreneurs have received support in the form of Startup incubation, Access to Government Support, and the benefit of a conducive ecosystem that has been built through collaboration with government entities, corporates, international organizations and diplomatic missions, and civil society organizations.

WE HUB has launched a 50-seater facility which will offer 50 coworking desks, cabins and meeting rooms, mothers’ room, a child play area, and a state-of-the-art auditorium in addition to facilities provided by co-working/collaboration spaces.

The facility was designed keeping in mind the diverse needs of women in the workforce and in entrepreneurship. Ms. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Chairperson and Managing Director of Biocon, Ltd. was the chief guest for the inauguration along with Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary to the Government of Telangana.

A key milestone in WE Hub’s journey is the creation of a physical facility which accommodates and reflects the inclusive values to enable women entrepreneurs to thrive. In that spirit, we would like to celebrate the inauguration of the WE Hub Headquarters which is a one-of-its-kind space that caters to the needs of women-led startups and women in the workforce.
