  • Telangana’s IT/ ITES Exports stood at 1,45,522 Crores for the financial year 2020-21. An increase of 12.98% over the previous financial year. The growth is substantial considering the onset of Covid19 pandemic and its adverse impact on the economy
  • During the same period, Telangana added 46,489 new jobs taking the total IT/ ITES employment to 6,28,615. An YoY increase of 7.99% compared to the FY 2019-20.
  • Even by conservative estimates, Telangana’s IT/ ITES Exports growth rate is poised to be over two times that of the national average
  • Established “Telangana IT Investments Wing” under the administrative control of IT, E&C Dept. to take forward the efforts to position the State as the best destination for IT investments
  • IT Tower/Incubation Centre with 1400 seats capacity is operational in Warangal
  • Inaugurated Karimnagar IT Tower on 21.07.2020. The facility with a total built up space of 80,000 sq. ft. and 556 seats hosts 18 IT companies
  • The Khammam IT Tower was inaugurated on 07.12.2020. Nineteen IT companies are operating from the facility with a total built up space of 41,250 sq.ft and 430 seats. Construction of Phase II IT Tower, with 570 additional seats, was started as 31 more companies showed interest in setting up shop
  • Construction of IT Towers at Nizamabad (50,000 sq. ft.), Mahabubnagar (60,000 sq. ft.) is nearing completion while CM Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao has laid the foundation stone for another IT Tower at Siddipet (1,21,600 sq. ft.)
  • Building IT towers at Nalgonda (1,500 Seats), Ramagundam (200 Seats) and Wanaparthy (250 Seats) has been contemplated
